Jael: Founder, USCCA Instructor, NRA Instructor & Range Safety Officer

Range Angels was an idea formed after getting the nickname of 'range angels' by local range staff and other patrons of the range. Being active in shooting sports, I became a familiar face at local range events. Meanwhile, the culture was witnessing rapid growth in the number of women interested in shooting sports.

With education and safety foremost in our minds, I founded Range Angels LLC.

My goal is the same now as it was in the beginning.

  • Introduce safety training to new and future firearms enthusiasts.

  • Educate new and novice shooters with a safe, professional, and a comfortable training experience.

  • Further a shooter’s proficiency with more complex skills.

Investing in competent training from an experienced instructor is important and is the best way to become a safe and effective shooter on the range and in the event of self-defense to protect self and loved ones.

As mother a mother myself, I know how important home firearm safety is for households with children.

I have 15 years of personal and professional experience working with men, women, and minors (with parental consent) from diverse ethnicities, backgrounds, and lifestyles; as well as training individuals with physical challenges to participate in shooting sports including handguns, rifles, shotgun sports, and non-firearm sports (archery & atlatl), and training for self-defense.

Range Angels LLC offers services including basic firearm classes, home firearm safety, what to expect at a public shooting range, how to safely transport and store personal firearms; training and supervision on the range, types of ammunition, how to match ammunition to the firearm, assistance in choosing the right firearm and appropriate ammunition, shopping for your first or next firearm, ammunition, safety equipment, cleaning supplies, and accessories. We will help you learn about your firearm, disassemble/reassemble, maintain, and cleaning, which is important in keeping your equipment in good working order so it works when you need it. This can be one of the most daunting parts of becoming a responsible firearm owner.

We only require a few basic things including a positive attitude, willingness to learn about firearm safety and shooting sports (apprehension and worry is fine, we can work with that as long as you are willing to learn) as well as exercise the safe handling you learn in training. You must not be prohibited in any way from handling firearms or ammunition by federal, state, or local law.
